EYFS Teacher- Maternity Cover Role

Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a thriving primary school based in north Birmingham. We are currently seeking an EYFS Teacher to join the team from May half-term.
 
We are currently seeking an EYFS Teacher to join this friendly primary from may half-term until January 2025. This is a maternity cover role and the successful applicant will be completing all roles and responsibilities associated with a class teaching position, including marking and planning. There is a primary focus on phonics teaching and intervention, familiarity with Read, Write, Inc is advantageous but not essential.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and welcoming primary school community. The school is located in north Birmingham, within proximity to Washwood Heath, Nechells and Saltley. The expected salary range for this role is between £150-210 per day, depending on experience.
 
What to expect from applicants?
 
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). This role is ideal for anyone looking for a long-term position within EYFS. ECT’s are particularly encouraged to apply, especially any looking for some additional experience before taking on their induction years.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Confident in teaching EYFS
• Available to join the school from May half-term and available until January 2025.
