Salary: £80 - £90 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN
  • Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom activities and maintaining a safe and organised learning space

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience
  • Understanding of SEN and experience working with children with additional needs

Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with SEN

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Training in safeguarding and first aid

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time hours, temporary position
