We are looking for a dedicated SEN (Special Educational Needs) Tutor to join our team in City of London, England. This is a temporary position with expected part-time hours.

  • Provide tailored educational support to students with special educational needs.
  • Create personalised learning plans based on individual student requirements.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to help students achieve academic goals.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure student success.
  • Maintain accurate records of student development and achievements.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, empathetic, and supportive approach to teaching.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.

A relevant teaching qualification or degree in Special Education or a related field.

Prior experience working as an SEN Tutor is highly desirable.

  • Understanding of special educational needs and different learning styles.
  • Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.
  • Familiarity with assistive technologies and resources for SEN students.

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students with special educational needs in the City of London. The salary range for this position is £20-£25 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
