SEND Teaching Assistant

Smile Education Northwest are delighted to be working alongside a lively primary school located in north Manchester. We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join the team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join this friendly team from September 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be supporting pupils across KS1, working within classroom to support through the school day and also working on a 1:1 or small group intervention basis. Pupils needs are mainly based in SEMH and ASD.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly primary school at the heart of its local community. The school is located in north Manchester, within proximity to Failsworth, Littlemoss, and Monsall. The expected salary range for this role is between £80-100 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to have a relevant TA qualification, such as a Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning. This is a great role for anyone wishing to develop their knowledge on SEND Education and a fantastic role to develop 1:1 skills for those looking for more experience within SEND or 1:1 support.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning
• Available on a full time basis
• Confident in working across KS1, providing support to small groups and on a 1:1 basis
